Today the Indian markets closed sharply lower for a second consecutive day as investors booked profits after a sharp rise in the country’s benchmarks Sensex and the Nifty. Poor monsoon and weak global markets played the role of making the things worse for the Markets on second day in a row. The markets moved northwards with the start of a new week and clearly mirrored the European markets and closed at 52-week highs, led by gains in auto, realty and metal stocks.
